Healthy LIfestyle CHampion
For over 10 years, I have been committed to promoting a wide range of help and support for people wanting to live a “healthier” more balanced lifestyle.
To achieve a spiritual health you must first develop a healthy body. In order for you to achieve a healthy body you must first develop a healthy mind. In order for you to develop a healthy mind you must first develop a healthy heart. In order for you to have a healthy heart you must first develop a healthy soul. In order for you to become a healthy soul you must first develop a healthy spirit. In order for you to gain a healthy spirit you must first develop a healthy relationship with God.
Healthier lifestyles for the Healthier Life YOU DESIRE.
As an Olympian I have learnt that, without some real focus and intentionality, we can dream about tapping into our true potential but fail to cultivate the resilience to “show up” as the best versions of ourselves or to “bounce back” from setbacks and disappointments.
Whilst not everyone gets the opportunity to become an Olympian, we can all discover ways to improve our life outcomes by developing healthier lifestyles.
So What Factors Support Healthy Lifestyles?
The Big Influences
Spirituality Health
Spiritual health is a state of being that encompasses the alignment of the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and material dimensions of life. Spiritual health is developed and nurtured through meditation, prayer, reflection and other forms of self-awareness. It is a state of being that is achieved by the conscious realization of the interconnection of all things. It is the feeling of inner strength, hope, and trust.
Emotional Health
We all have emotions. Emotions are part of life, they come and go as we grow and change. They help us to understand ourselves and others, they motivate us, and they can also be destructive. Emotions are important to our health and wellbeing. You can develop your self-awareness and your feelings. This will enable you to identify your emotions, and to learn about them.
By being aware of what you feel, you can understand yourself better. This will give you more power over your emotions, and will allow you to take control of them. You can also use this awareness to understand other people better and increase the quality of your relationships and your leadership effectiveness.
The Day to Day Influences
Physical Health
There are many ways to maintain good physical health. One can start by consuming healthy foods – These include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, vitamins and water. It is also important to exercise regularly. This helps the body stay fit and healthy. Exercise also increases energy levels. It also helps reduce stress.
Mental Health
The meaning of having a mental health can be defined as the state of being mentally healthy. This means that the person is mentally fit and able to think logically, has the capacity to cope with the problems he/she faces and also able to deal with the stress in a rational way. It also means that the person has the ability to face any situation in a calm manner making good choices and responses to the situations and circumstances they are faced with.
Financial Health
So what does financial health look like? You need to have a job or a way to generate income that pays well, so that you can have the money to buy food and shelter. You need to be able save some money every month so that you will have money to pay for your bills when they come due. You also need to be saving up to help those causes that tug at your heartstrings or buying for something that you really want. This way, you can enjoy your life even more because you will have the money that you need to make things happen.
